Wood Choices
You will be able to specify wood species, board texture, finish and size.
Western Red Cedar: Composed mostly of heartwood, these trees are naturally insect repellent. The wood has a fine texture, is highly decay resistant and finishes well. It can be specified with tight knots or no knots at all (clear). Color of the lumber can vary. A single board might exhibit chocolate to blonde coloring-part of the unique character of your door.
Below are the texture/pattern/finish choices for cedar:
Western/Mountain Hemlock: This wood exhibits a very fine texture and is highly decay resistant. Dark streaks are characteristic of the lumber. These are often unseen because the wood can be easily painted.

Decorative Choices
Glass Lites: Each door includes windows unless specified otherwise. All windows consist of 1’2” double strength insulated glass fitted with wood trim. The arched and rectangular styles distinguish specific model types. For example, exchanging the arched 2 or 4 window treatment on the Lincoln door for the rectangular 2 or 4 window treatment is the same as specifying the Jefferson.
Optional Decorative Exterior Hardware
Available in antiqued brass (AB) or black wrought iron (B) finishes, this hardware can create the illusion that your door is hinged and opens along the sides.
